Panther Tank - Wehrmacht x 3 Summary

The PzKpfw V, or Panther, tank was created in response to the Russian T-34 and KV-1 tanks and intended to replace the existing Panzer III and Panzer IV tanks. It ultimately was not built in sufficient numbers to replace these tanks and most panzer divisions still relied on the Panzer IV as their primary tank. The Panther tank is considered the best overall tank of the war given its good blend of offensive firepower and defensive armor.

The piece is painted in a medium panzer grey and has the national flag on the rear deck and Balkan crosses on the sides.
