Rise above the congestion with metal flight stands for magnetized aircraft. These flight stands are crafted from solid polished stainless steel. These are extremely high quality and will not break or even bend easily. The base size matches the standard Axis and Allies infantry unit base at 12.5 mm and will sit perfectly on the standard A&A plastic chips. The base is 4 mm thick for extra weight and balance to help keep your units standing upright!Available in five different heights for compatibility for all your gaming needs. The height can be used to simiulate different object types:
20mm - Low-flying objects like barrage balloons, helicopters and bi-planes
25mm - Propeller aircraft
30mm - Jet aircraft
35mm - Strategic bombers
40mm - High altitude objects like reconnaissance planes and satellites
The 25mm stand is taller than most game pieces, but not all, like the Japanese infantry as shown. The 40mm stand towers above all the game pieces.
Adding base decals to stands really gives them visual interest. They will become a talking point during your next game.
