CV-3 Saratoga Aircraft Carrier Summary

This is a 3D printed sculpt of the USS Saratoga aircraft carrier by EBard Models.

The USS Saratoga was a member of the Lexington class and was converted from a battlecruiser hull into a fleet carrier to comply with treaty limitations. She participated in many Pacific battles and in early 1945 she became a dedicated night fighter carrier. She was heavily damaged by kamakazi strikes during the Iwo Jima campaign. While under repair she was convered into a training carrier and did not participate in combat for the rest of the war.

2) Weathered USN deck blue stain
