The Aichi D3A Val was the standard dive bomber of the Imperial Japanese Navy throughout the early war period until it began to be replaced by the Judy dive bomber in mid 1943.

"We are a team of Axis & Allies enthusiasts. In addition to the gaming experience, we value realism, visuals, and gaming atmosphere. The painted ships and aircraft are not just painted, they also correspond to the real models. The D3A Val, with its white base color and red circles on the wings, is easily recognizable on the game board from afar and identifiable as IPJ. The magnets are superbly installed, practically undetectable, yet so strong that the aircraft hold instantly.
